Description
The new PC Carbon construction with 'Linear Flex' produces a 3D twist & roll action resulting in a fast, super responsive fin that feels much smoother in turns. PCC fins are suitable for fast surfing and are favored by advanced surfers who like to make explosive turns on critical parts of the wave.
The new PCC Essential Series fins are constructed using AirCore technology: a core of pressed polyurethane foam that mimics the geometric foil of the fin. The AirCore allows for a much lighter fin with total flex manipulation.
The internal carbon frame is specially designed to match any template. By switching to epoxy resin and a carbon twill at the base, a more user-friendly flex pattern has been achieved. Stiffness in the lower half of the fin improves drive and acceleration from the start, and a softer flex in the upper half of the fin results in a smoother feel when turning.
