The Half Cab features a completely redesigned upper, a molded heel counter, reinforced tongue straps and a reshaped DURACAP™ underlay. It has an essential fit that's more breathable and durable where skaters need it most. The two-part strap on the sole has a harder toe groove and provides more board contact. The Vans redesigned gum rubber sole is further enhanced with SICKSTICK™ rubber compound and an internal heel shank for increased grip, boardfeel, support and durability. The new Half Cab features a new sidewall finish, a POPCUSH™ sockliner for superior cushioning and impact protection, and Steve's classic branding for the iconic look you want, with all the performance benefits real skaters demand. It has a sturdy suede and canvas upper.
