The Vans Sk8-Hi in the color Cozy Hug Parisian Night , originally named Style 38, was introduced in 1978 as the first high skate shoe. The shoe has an innovative high padded collar for ankle support and a reinforced toe cap. It was the second shoe to feature the iconic sidestripe Vans and gave the Vans family at the same time a whole new look. It was and still is a symbol of the "Off The Wall" culture.
The Cozy Hug Sk8-Hi Building on that first legendary high top shoe, it features a sturdy suede upper with a comfortable, soft Sherpa lining. This lace-up also features signature rubber waffle outsoles for reliable traction.
